- If a client enrolls in our Managed Service Provider solutions, Compudata is given access to and collects data about the client's IT environment which may include personally identifiable information, which is protected under PIPEDA in Canada.
If a client enrolls in our Backup solution, the data we store is optionally encrypted end-to-end and is not available to be viewed by Compudata. The client may opt to have Compudata manage their backups on their behalf, which would provide Compudata with access to this data, which is protected under PIPEDA in Canada.
Data Collection and Purpose Specification
We collect the personal data that you may volunteer while using our services.
We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations.
We do collect or use personal data for the following purposes: sales quotations, invoices, shipping, client environment management, technical and product support, and our newsletter.
We reserve the right to contact our customers in the case of a product recall or defect notification.
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, we offer you the means to consent to this new purpose.
Some of the data we collect may be stored on secure servers which are located in Canada and the United States of America.
